Microbiology Reference Materials

Microbial testing is an essential tool in minimising risk to human and animal health from biological pathogens, demonstrating successful safety and hygiene control standards, and helping ascertain shelf-life.

 

To enable you to provide evidence that your Quality Management System is successful, we provide a range of testing products to support the quantitative enumeration of microbes and detection of pathogens. Microbes are supplied in simple-to-use, lyophilised tablets or pellets - each with a certificated microbial count and traceable to NCTC or equivalent strains. A range of blank matrices is also available - while a single manufactured batch can also be requested for group labs, to enable direct comparison of QC charts over multiple sites.

 

Our proficiency testing schemes meanwhile offer a wide range of samples for pathogens, hygiene indicators and other microbes in matrices such as water, cannabis, surface swabs, food and feeds.
