Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)

NSAIDs are members of a drug class that reduces pain, decreases fever, prevents blood clots and, in higher doses, decreases inflammation. They act by inhibiting the COX-1 and 2 enzymes that are involved in inflammation and blood clotting.
