Qualitative Organics by Purge & Trap GCMS in surface and groundwater

Six organic analytes are provided for qualitative identification. This sample is designed to test the ability of laboratories to identify organic compounds via purge and trap GCMS analysis. Participants are provided with a solution containing six organic compounds. The test requires that participants identify the six compounds present. Results returned will be identified as satisfactory or unsatisfactory. Participants are also provided with a solvent blank. The choice of the 6 organic compounds is designed to avoid the formation of reaction by-products.
