Mycotoxin Reference Materials
Mycotoxins are secondary metabolites of moulds found mainly in plant-derived products - including cereals, coffee, fruits, juices, nuts, oilseeds, spices, and cannabis.
Crops contaminated with food and beverage mycotoxins are a major health issue for humans, livestock, and pets - leading over 100 countries to establish regulatory limits for 13 of the most impactful and prevalent toxins.
To support rapid testing, screening and quantitation, we provide a range of food and beverage mycotoxin reference materials in convenient mixes, individual solutions or neat materials, as well as in typical matrices and as labelled formats.
Our portfolio of nearly 400 products includes regulated aflatoxins - such as citrinin, deoxynivalenol, diacetoxyscirpenol (DAS), ergot alkaloids, fumonisins, patulin, sterigmatocystin (STG), and trichothecenes. We also cover a wider range of compounds whose presence and levels are increasingly attracting scientific and regulatory interest , as well as ‘emerging’ mycotoxins as further metabolites whose health effects are also being studied.
Our range of proficiency testing schemes also supports your analysis of at least 13 different mycotoxins in more than 11 matrices - including spices, nuts, cereals, vegetable oil, and milk products.
